I'm researching the following names in Berkshire County: STAMM (Otto L.) lived in Great Barrington and Monterey during the 1860's, was a German immigrant who volunteered for the MA Infantry in the Civil War, DOWNS including Andrew and his daughter, Betsie, Zina, Selden, Corris, and
Martha, HUBBARD in Pittsfield, I believe, especially Elijah b. 1800 parents unknown.
I am looking for John Garno's parents. He
was born in Canada 1860,Nov.26.
I have found one in the Census 1880 living
at the house of Oliver Fountain ( father in law, ) Williamstown,
Berkshire, Mass
also, working in Cotton Mills.
May be somebody could help me- - marriage
certificate could tell his father's name...
